Why I have been ignoring SEMA 2007

Nearly every car blog on the planet is going crazy posting about each and every vehicle at SEMA - some have dozens of posts on SEMA 2007 - yikes. Why in the world hasn’t your favorite car blog, Houston Cars, written a single post about this show?

The answer is simple, really. No, I haven’t fallen off the planet, and yes, I am paying attention to SEMA. The fact is, 99% of the cars shown at SEMA are simply hopped-up versions of current models, or outrageous concepts - neither of which are likely to ever see production. I like to write about cars that are out, or are likely to be produced. I’ll leave the pipe dreams to everyone else - clutter isn’t something I need more of around here.

That being said, if there’s a vehicle at SEMA worth talking about in my eyes, you can be sure I will. I’m still keeping my eyes open, I just haven’t seen anything worth mentioning yet.
