UAW Walks out on Chrysler – Strike Time

The deadline that the UAW set for Chrysler passed without an agreement, and the UAW officially began walking out at 11:00 AM this morning. Just like they did just a few weeks ago during the short-lived GM strike. This strike against Chrysler will affect about 49,000 UAW workers, who will enjoy a bit of time off. However, just like GM folded very quickly, I expect Chrysler to do the same. I could be mistaken though – especially considering the fact that Chrysler is the only privately owned of the Big 2.5. Who knows – they may just do something crazy and take a stand.

Nah, who am I kidding? They’ll fold as GM did, and just like Ford will when it’s their turn. The UAW will win again, as it always has.
