WELL THE REASON I BROUGHT UP THE SWAPABLE BATTRIES WAS BECAUSE ON A SITE I SAW HAD A ELECTRIC F-1 CAR AND A ACTUAL VIDEO OF A PIT CREW SWAPPING BATTERIES IN A MATTER OF SECONDS. AND IT GOT ME THINK, IF THEY CAN SWAPP BATTERIES WHY NOT WITH THIS CAR. ALL THOUGH THE BATTERY IS ONE UNIT AND NOT DIVIDED INTO MULTIPLE SECTORS. I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD CONCEPT FOR THEM TO LOOK INTO.

Good point - sports cars really aren't made for super long trips anyway.
I don't think you can swap out batteries - I'd imagine the battery would be very large and heavy... though that's just a guess.

IF IT'S ONLY 200 MILES, NOT THAT I'M CONCERNED ABOUT THAT, BUT CAN'T YOU JUST REPLACE THE BATTERIES, LIKE A STAND ALONE CHARGING STATION. SO IF YOUR BATTERY RUNS LOW YOU CAN GO HOME AND SWAP BATTERIES AND CHARGE THE OTHER LIKE YOU DO WITH A ELECTRIC R/C CAR? I DON'T SEE WHY IT CAN BE DONE.

EVEN THOUGH IT MIGHT BE 20% DECREASE IN MILEAGE. WILL YOU REALLY GO CROSS COUNTRY IN A SPORTS CAR ON A EVERYDAY BASIS? ........ NO. I NOT CONCERNED SO MUCH WITH THAT BUT THE FACT THAT IT'S ACTUALLY HITTING THE MARKET. I EXPECT GREAT THINGS IN THE FUTURE FOR ELECTRIC SPORTS CARS.
