Recall Notice – Toyota Recalling over 500k Tundras, Sequoias

Go Toyota! A 500k large recall is no joke. Usually this type of news comes from Detroit, but lately we’ve been seeing more and more from Toyota. What’s to blame for the latest fiasco? Faulty ball joints in the front suspension, which could fail and cause the drivers to lose control of their big honkin trucks.

The 500,000 number is even more significant when you think about the fact that neither the Tundra or Sequoia are particularly high-volume vehicles. The model years affected are 2004-2006 Tundra, and 2004-2007 Sequoia.

While I wouldn’t be afraid of a Toyota car, I’m really starting to wonder about Toyota trucks. Bulletproof? Not anymore.
