I have a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder that's in very nice condition with only 125,000 miles on it.

The undercarriage is rusting away to the point where it's actually rather dangerous to continue driving it. I had planned to keep this vehicle for the remainder of my life (since I don't drive much). I can't afford to do anything about the 94' Pathfinder undercarriage (if anything even can be done) and I can't afford to buy a different "reliable" vehicle. I think Nissan should be responsible for repairing or replacing this vehicle.

Anyone else with a same or similar problem?

Strange that I had to hear about Fuel Filler recall from the dealer when I took my 2001 Pathfinder for an oil change in mid February 2008. They spotted it, checked records, and told me I needed a recall fix on fuel filler. They had parts so they did it. I never got anything from Nissan...no notice..no recall..nothing! To make matters worse, I have e-mailed Nissan three times as to why I got nothing from them...each time they replay with a "we received" e-mail with promise to respond - and never do! Anyone see anything wrong with this picture? I have to learn "accidentally" about a recall that has potentially dangerous repercussions if not done?
