After the rocky start due to an instant stop-sell, the GMC Acadia and Saturn Outlook seem to have taken off and done pretty well, as far as we can tell. Most of the reviews have been glowing, and that’s the best kind of publicity one can hope for.

GM’s twin crossovers are at it again, however, with a recall that affects over 13,000 vehicles. This is a small number in the grand scheme of recalls, but remember - these vehicles have been out only a very short time.

The problem? Faulty airbag sensors. It’s always good to know that the one thing that may keep you from dying in a crash might not even work at all. Very reassuring indeed.

GM say sit’s just a software problem, and the fix is quick and painless. The dealers have the fix already, and are prepared to take care of it. Recall notices will be going out by the end of the month to all affected owners.
