The New Chrysler isn’t stopping it’s absurd number of recalls, regardless of name changes. The latest recall affects model year 2007 and 2008 Dodge Avengers and Chrysler Sebring sedans – 102,042 of them to be exact. This is out of approximately 127k Sebrings and Avengers that have been sold thru September this year – so pretty much all of them.
What’s the problem, you ask? Potential issues with cooling fan motor connectors, which could cause a fire. Thus far, no injuries or accidents have been attributed to this defect. The recalls are too frequent by far, but it’s always good to see a recall before an injury occurs. If you’re the proud owner of an affected vehicle, keep an eye on your mailbox.
