Since this a luxury model recall, the number of affected units is small - just 718 units are affected by it.  The recall affects only automatic transmission units, so if you row your own gears, you don’t need to worry.

The concern lies in the ABS / anti-skid control unit, and can cause issues with braking and stability.  The problem will, of course, be fixed at no charge by your local Maserati dealer.
