Nissan put out a recall on the 07-08 Sentras.  Well, about 170,000 of them anyway.  That’s a pretty hefty number of Sentras, to be sure.  What’s the big fuss, you ask?  Nothing major.  Unless you consider a faulty brake cylinder major, that is.

Potentially, the cylinder could leak, which will illuminate the brake light on the dash.  If the driver ignores that light, the brakes could eventually fail.  To date, there have been no accidents or injuries related to this issue.  Contact your local Nissan dealer if you have one of these cars parked in your driveway - faulty brakes are no fun for anyone.
