Nissan GT-R V-Spec
The 2009 Nissan GT-R is a badass, and there’s no denying that. After all, what could be better than a 480 HP twin-turbo V6 hooked up to a wicked AWD system? How about a 520 HP twin-turbo V6 hooked up to that same ATESSA AWD system, after it goes on a 331 lb diet? Oh my. Specs are very speculative at this point, but even if the weight loss is only half what is projected, this thing will be wicked fast. 0-60 time, quarter mile, and handling will all improve dramatically. Gas mileage may not even suffer from the increased horsepower, because of the weight loss. The price tag, of course, will take a hike.
No word on if the GTR V-Spec will make it here to the US, or be a Japan only product. Count me in for a test drive if it comes to the States.
