Lexus recalls 270k vehicles

The latest in a ridiculously long string of high volume Toyota recalls – Lexus is in need of fixing two hundred and seventy thousand vehicles. The problem is a defective engine design – these vehicles can stall while the vehicle is moving. Not all the affected models have been named yet – only the Lexus LS and Toyota Crown models.

Not sure which is worse, your engine calling it quits when you’re hurtling down the highway at 65 MPH or your vehicle going faster and faster until some outside force (like a wall) stops it.

Toyota seems to have lost their way. All of their recent recalls are pretty serious items, and a huge potential danger. I’ll stick to my Honda, thanks.
