Magazine scans of the upcoming Lamborghini Gallardo LP550 have surfaced prior to the official unveiling of the car at Geneva.  You’ll probably have to be a Lambo expert to really see the difference between the vanilla Gallardo and the LP550 though.  The front air damn is deeper, and there is what looks like a third air intake up front.  There are also some new vents directly before the front pair of wheels.  The exhaust opening is also restyled, though nothing dramatic.

As you can see from the pictures, the story isn’t about the redesign.  The story is under the hood - the V10 gets increased to 5.2 liters, and puts out a whopping 550 HP.  That’s up from the 512 HP 5.0 liter powerplant in the regular Gallardo.  I’m all for more power, so I say bring it.  Pricing is still in the air - though it surely won’t come cheap.
