Every once in awhile, I’ll stumble across a car so amazing and beautiful that my jaw just drops for a moment. The 1995 Jaguar XJ220 Pininfarina is one of those such cars.
So what, exactly, is a Jaguar XJ220 Pininfarina? Well, it’s a Jaguar XJ220 that was customized by Pininfarina for the Sultan of Brunei. The regular Jaguar XJ220 was a fantastic looking supercar in it’s own right, but the Pininfarina version simply blows it away, and makes it one of the most amazing looking cars ever built.

This car was custom designed for the Sultan of Brunei, so it won’t be for sale probably ever. If it did ever go on the block, I’d expect very high 6 figures, low 7 figures off the top of my head. Who knows though - unique cars are nearly impossible to value accurately.
That’s a million dollar car for sure. A one-off Pininfarina design of an already iconic automobile is sure to demand a premium price. But I’d much rather put my money into a car like that than a modern ferrari or lambo b/c in 5-10 years that car will be worth twice as much as it is now.
