Meet the brand new, upcoming, alleged Infiniti FX55.  The fine folks at Autoweek.nl managed to get ahold of a few pictures of this oddly-proportioned vehicle.  The front bumper is changed from the current FX, as are the headlights.  This is, of course, the first news of an FX55 - currently there is only an FX35 and FX45.  The “55″ certainly sounds like a 5.5 liter V8, but that’s not an engine that Nissan / Infiniti currently produces to my knowledge. 

Infiniti could be taking a cue from BMW’s bag of tricks, and naming the car based on performance rather than pure engine size.  No one knows at this point, so it’s just speculation.  Either way, the FX is still ugly, whether it’s packing an insanely powerful V8 or not.
