Ford recalls 3.6 million vehicles

Just when I think Ford is starting to turn things around ( they did post a profit last quarter ), the bad news comes out of the woodwork.  Ford just announced that they’re recalling 3.6 million vehicles to fix a fault cruise control switch.  These vehicles span 12 different models, built from 1992-2007.  Remember – Ford recalled 6 million vehicles back in January of 2005 because of cruise control & fire concerns.  That’s nearly 10 million recalled units over one problem – ouch.

The replacement parts won’t be available until October, so don’t go rushing down to your local Ford dealer just yet.  Follow the link below to check out the affected units.  If you own one of these units , you’ll probably want to call Ford at (888) 222-2751to verify that your vehicle is affected.
