Ebay Car of the Week – 1990 Ferrari F40

1990-ferrari-f40-2 Ever want to own one of the great Ferrari supercars?  The F40 is one of the most storied cars in Ferrari’s bright history.  It was the last vehicle comissioned by Enzo Ferrari, the automaker’s founder.

Up for sale on Ebay is a pristine example of this magnificent beast.  This 1990 Ferrari F40 has had two owners, though it has only 7200 miles on the odometer.  Of course, it comes complete with the magnificent 470 HP 2.9 liter twin-turbo V8 under the rear hatch.  Back in those days, Ferrari didn’t bother with making the engine particularly nice to look at, but I’d let it slide.  A 0-60 time of about 3.2 seconds would make forget all about silly little details like that.

Anyway, if you have some cash to burn, there aren’t many nicer cars to buy.  Currently the bid stands just north of $400,000, with 21 hours left.  What are you waiting for?
