CR-V Production Increase Coming

2008-cr-v According to Automotive News, Honda is working on increasing the production of their hugely popular CR-V.  Their factory in Mexico is hiring an extra 600 workers to aid the process.  Since it’s redesign in 2007, the CR-V has seen amazing sales figures, and currently ranks as the best selling CUV in America.  Since this little guy is such a hot seller, discounts and rebates have been non-existent – if you want a CR-V, you’re going to have to pay for it.  Count on making your money back on the gas savings.

Total production is slated to increase by about 20,000 units per year – mostly to South American customers.
