Blue Devil = Bad name. Corvette SS = Great name. Chevrolet is officially going to call the new super Corvette - the Corvete SS. Many were rooting for Stingray instead, but that’s just a throwback name on a car that has no ‘retro’ about it.

The actualy specs on the Corvette SS are still hush hush, but 600+ HP is a given, considering the specs of the new Viper. Whether they’ll up the cubes again, or go supercharged is unknown. There’s also the remote possibility that we’ll see a DOHC V8 under the hood - ala the famed Corvette ZR-1. I’d expect a supercharger before that though. Any thoughts?
