Fairly old news, but somehow this one flew in under my radar. Meet the Chevrolet Stingray Concept car – which debuted back at the 2009 Chicago auto show. It’s a concept only for now, but it incorporates classic Corvette design – including a throwback split rear window, as well modern-day Camaro influence. I’d wager that we won’t see the next-generation Corvette wearing this skin, though. The look is too outrageous, and the split rear window just doesn’t make any practical sense. But it’s neat to look at, and the Stingray name is always an interesting one to toss around.
