Good game, Malibu Hybrid. In stark contrast to the excellent new Malibu, the Malibu Hybrid was a poorly conceived, poorly performing, and overpriced car. Managing a feeble 2 MPG more than the vanilla Malibu, and costing several thousand dollars more, this vehicle never made sense.
I have never recommended this car to anyone – and now I won’t have to tell people to avoid it. Thankfully GM ( or perhaps it was The Great Obama ) decided to axe this awful vehicle.
