There hasn’t been a Corvette Grand Sport since the limited edition 1996 run – but it’s back, baby. The Grand Sport package will replace the Z51 package, with some new upgrade goodies.
Horsepower will remain the same at 430 / 436 ( with the optional exhaust ) – but it’s not as though power is really lacking here. Most of the improvements are more subtle, but no less important. Some of the upgrades you get with the Grand Sport are:
- Z06-style front splitter and rear spoiler,
- Functional brake ducts
- Larger brakes ( 14” up front and 13.4” in the rear )
- Revised manual transmission gear ratios
- Wider front and rear fenders
