Car Angel Ministries Review

Car Angel Ministries is a non-profit organization that helps a variety of people – from at-risk youth, to folks without a place to call home, and even prisoners trying to get back on the right track. The concept is simple – donate your car, boat, or even RV to Car Angel Ministries. They’ll then use the proceeds from your donation to help one of their causes. The question that’s probably in your mind is simple, but you might be afraid to voice it – “What do I get out of it?” Don’t be ashamed, it’s natural to ask that question. And fortunately, you do get several benefits from donating your car to Car Angel Ministries. Take a look:

  • Tax deduction based on the value of your donation
  • Instant tax receipt – no waiting for it to come in the mail
  • Save time – you won’t have to sell your car on your own
  • Save hassle – you needn’t worry about any repairs to your car
  • Help Car Angel Ministries charitable causes

As you can see, there are quite a few benefits to donating your car. Even if your car isn’t running, you don’t have to worry. Car Angel Ministries will send out a tow truck to pick up your car, and give you a tax receipt on the spot. You don’t even have to pay for the tow truck – it’s free.

At the end of the day, you have a decision to make. One on hand, you could sell your car privately, and deal with placing ads, doing repairs, taking phone calls, handling test drives, etc etc. Or you can save yourself a huge hassle and donate your car. Not only does it save you time, you get to help make a difference in some folks lives. Helping youths and the homeless can make a huge difference in their lives, and help point them in the right direction. Supporting Car Angel Ministries by donating your car, boat, or RV makes it possible.

I have owned this car for almost ten years now. The last couple of years have been hard. I have been homeless with my wiife and six kids for about seven months starting two years ago Christmas. We got back into a house around August and then we separated for about two and a have months starting in December of 2009. during which I was homeless and sleeping in a tent last year at this time down off of I-25 and Cimmarron for the first month of our separation.

I have not had much money to keep this car up and running very well due to the hard times. It has been down on me a number of times over the last four to five years. I am doing better now than I have in a while; but I do think my car is about to quit on me again. The tranny has a noise that sounds kind of like the throwout bearing but I thing it may be something in the tranny itself, I am not sure. When I start off in first and secound gears there is a vibration from the right rear of the car, not related to the tranny. The motor starts kind of hard in the morning and will smoke a lot for about a block as I pul out of the drive. The struts in the front are wearing the mounting holes from not being tightened enough when I installed them. Flasher for the turn turn signals only took twelve hours to blow last time I installed one.

I have been able to purchase another motor (7-M) and a donor car (1988 Supra) to put in my 84 Supra, but I am still lacking some piecies and woulod like to install the motor in the donor car first to make sure it is a good motor before I disable my car that I use for work.

The Windshield says “JESUS IS GOD” The rear window has John 14:6 on it. – JESUS CHRIST SAID ” I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE, NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER (GOD) BUT BY ME.”

Thank you for your prayers and any help.

Danny White
