Buy used cars where the dealers buy

Recently I wrote a set of tips on how to buy a used car from a dealer. Buying from a dealer does give peace of mind, but not always the best possible deal. At some point you’ll need to ask if your peace of mind is worth several thousand dollars.

Wouldn’t you rather pay wholesale price than retail price? Of course you would. Dealers have to buy their cars from somewhere, after all. Now you have the opportunity to buy cars from the same place, and take advantage of the savings.

I’ve been doing a little research into finding different places to find bargains on used cars – it can be quite tricky. I did come across this one site, Bargain Auto Repo / Auction Listings. There are over 1 million vehicles to choose from – their selection is incredible. You can even find vehicles for as low as $500 – trying doing that at a dealer. Here’s one of the banners I found:

It’s worth a few minutes to check out their site – even if you’re not in the market for a car right now. You never know what sort of bargains you might find.
