A word on Sponsored Posts

I just wanted to make a quick note as to my position on sponsored posts.  I will, from time to time, write a sponsored post.  This blog can be quite expensive to keep up, especially with regards to time.  Being compensated for my efforts helps me be able to put more resources into this site, and I think that’s good for all of my readers.

When it comes to sponsored posts, I will accept them, with a few restrictions.  If the advertiser *requires* a positive review of the site/product in question, I’m not interested. If the advertiser requires that I present the product / service in a certain way that does not fit in with my opinion, I will not accept.

I will only write sponsored reviews in a completely honest fashion.  That means that you will see a brief disclosure at the top of any sponsored post - if you don’t see the disclosure, it’s not sponsored.  Also, my review will reflect my true opinion, every single time.  If I think the site / service / product is poor, you’ll know!  If I think it’s great, I’ll say that too.  The point is, I won’t lie to make a buck.

At the end of the day, the only reason I am able to continue writing on this site is that you, my readers, continue to read.  I’ll always do my best to provide you with the best information that I can, and always with an honest opinion.

Thanks for reading, everyone.
