The Nissan GT-R is beloved pretty much all over the world. It’s obscenely fast, probably faster than it should be, given it’s specs. It handles like nothing else. It’s exotic looking without being too exotic. Car guys (and girls) will recognize a GT-R, but regular Joes won’t know you’re driving a Ferrari-killer.
Each year, the GT-R gets a little better. The 2014 GT-R is no different, of course. For the latest and greatest, Nissan mustered up a few more ponies, bringing the total to 545 HP. The tried-and-true (and amazing) twin-turbo 3.8 liter V6 still lives under the hood, and the same AWD system we’ve come to know and love keeps the car planted.
Nissan tweaked the suspension a bit, and there’s a new interior package that no one cares about. This is a 545 HP AWD monster. A poor interior won’t turn buyers off, and an awesome interior won’t turn Altima buyers into GT-R buyers.
