Green Car Reports reviews the 2012 Honda Civic and has this to say:
As well, the 2012 Civic’s interior materials and amenities are now only average in the newly competitive compact sedan class. And its price is steep. While our early car came without a window sticker, we estimate it would run upwards of $25,500.
We liked the 2012 Civic Hybrid, but we would have liked it a lot more if it cost $2,000 less.
The Civic Hybrid has certainly gotten more expensive as the years pass. Sure, the lithium ion battery is a nice improvement… but it has always been a bit of a tough sell compared to the Prius. That hasn’t changed.
