Would-be MINI buyers who just can’t get over how tiny the Cooper and Clubman are – listen up. The all new 2011 Countryman will start from $22,350. That’s just $550 more than the base Clubman price. For the extra five hundred bucks, you get a much bigger (though still very, very small) vehicle, and four full doors.
Pricing will approach $30k if you opt for the turbocharged engine and AWD, which really isn’t too bad considering all the goodies that you get. The gas mileage is fantastic too, as is usual with the MINI brand. Non-turbo stick shift models will get up to 35 MPG on the highway. Try that in a Tiguan. Or Juke. Or whatever else you’re considering.
