Houston Cars

No more grainy Transformer shots.  No more suits standing in the way, blocking the view.  Today GM finally revealed the production 2011 Volt in it’s final form.  No beating around the bush - this car is freaking awesome.  Take out the suits and the ugly blue from the last shots, and you’re left with a modern looking car with a slightly futuristic flair.  Futuristic, but not funky or weird - it looks like a regular car with a secret under the hood.  And that, my friends, is exactly what the Volt is. 

The interior is definitely iPod inspired.  The center stack has iPod written all over it - but it works.  With the dual LCD screens, it pulls of a stylish, semi-futuristic interior, without looking weird.  Even the steering wheel is perfect.

I’m not sure what else I can add.  If GM can find a way to get the Volt priced even in the mid 30’s ( previously I said low 30’s ), then it will be a blockbuster hit.  Everyone, their mother, and their mothers friends will want one.  Waiting list months long.  Bidding wars on Ebay.  I’m talking Prius on steroids - no joke.

40 EV miles, mid 30’s price tag, and the amazing look that it has - wow.  GM nailed this one, hard.
