The 2010 Toyota Prius Pictures posted here just the other day have been confirmed by Toyota - they are the real deal.  The specs aren’t public yet, but the 2010 Prius is supposed to get a more powerful engine AND better fuel economy.  Toyota’s sticking with the NIMH batteries this time around though -no fancy lithium ion’s here.  Probably a smart call at this point - Toyota’s reputation demands bulletproof reliability.  Lithium ion batteries will become the standard, but they’re not quite ready for Toyota duty yet.
