2010 Nissan Altima Teaser Photo

Nissan released the first teaser photo of the refreshed 2010 Nissan Altima. Like the teaser photos they released of the redesigned 2010 Maxima, you can’t tell much of anything from this picture. What you can tell is that the boomerang style headlights that grace the 370Z and Maxima aren’t present. I’m guessing that Nissan will leave those fancy headlights to the higher-end vehicles. That’s quite alright by me – there should be plenty of visual distinction between the Altima and the Maxima, given the price difference.

Besides some visual updates, there will be some shakeups in the trim levels. Gone are the 3.5 SE and 3.5 SL trims, replaced by a single trim called the 3.5 SR. Buyers who opt for the 4 cylinder and 6 speed manual combination will get bumped up to 17″ alloys, instead of the 16″ steel wheels that are currently standard. Bluetooth streaming audio and an optional 4.3″ color display are some of the new goodies that will be available.

As soon as the next teasers / feature updates are released, you can read about them here.
