Someone please tell me this is going to be a real station wagon that sits at car height and has a more or less straight roof line. That gigantic CRX hatchback spy photo doesn't look like any kind of awesome I'd be interested in. The Venza looked good in pictures so I went to the dealer to investigate. It's a bloated minivan without the sliding doors. If Honda sold the European Accord wagon here (even as a TSX tourer) I'd probably have one if a base model could be had for $22K. Might as well buy a Mazda 5. They have a third row of seats, aren't insanely huge and the leftover 09's were $16K for a high trim level. And you can get a real 3-pedal stick shift version! They look like a small minivan (I guess they are) but other than that I don't see why there aren't a lot more of them on the road.

I've seen pictures of both cars, one with the sloping back (like the X6) and then a tradition wagon. Which is this car going to be? I like the wagon, not the sloping back look. I really hope they're bringing the wagon style in...I would have to pass on the sloping style. Anyone know the real answer to this? Not just your opinion, but facts? Justin, can you shed some light on this for us?

I have been waiting for Honda to bring back the wagon for more than a decade. I will be purchasing one of these Crosstours (or whatever it will be named) sometime soon.
Finally a practical car with sporty looks that is not a huge ugly SUV. Thanks Honda.

Justin's right, I'm more trusting of the sites that generally show real spyshots, I doubt they'd pull out a wagon based off the accord that closely, especially considering the secrecy and hype they're building on their sites.
I'd get that, especially if the V6 AWD claims are accurate.

Gosh, Justin, that's a compelling, convincing statement. Is there any actual reason why to trust you to go with it??

I'm curious - why do you want to avoid another European car? Have you had troubles with your current wagon? (Not trying to talk you out of a Japanese product - I love Hondas and own two currently. )

I am looking forward to this product. I have a German wagon now but I don't want to buy another European car if I can help it. I had a Civic back in the day and put almost 3ook on it. Hondas may not be the best looking cars but they are the best built.
