2010 Chevy Equinox Spotted
The all new 2010 Equinox was spotted without it’s camo gear - and here are the shots. The first thing you’ll notice is that the new Equinox looks like a baby Traverse. Not a bad vehicle to take after, to be truthful. The current Equinox is decent looking, and so is the Traverse. Put them together and you end up with, well, a reasonably attractive midsize CUV.
Hardware specs aren’t solid yet, so there’s not much use speculating. Hopefully Chevy will feel inclined to toss a six speed auto in there, rather than the 4 speed they have a bad habit of using. A choice of a 4 or a V6 would be nice too - the current Equniox is only available with your choice of a 3.4 or 3.6 liter V6. The 2010 Equinox does look larger than the current gen, if only by a bit. That might kill any hope of a four cylinder engine… but we’ll know soon enough.
