2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid gets 1,445 miles on one tank of gas

Ford’s recent publicity stunt with their excellent Fusion Hybrid had a lofty goal – 1,000 miles on a tank of fuel.  What happened was nothing short of spectacular.  With some neato hypermiling tricks from the experts, the team blew away the goal by over 40%.  When the tank finally ran dry, the Fusion Hybrid had [...]

1000 HP Club

One Thousand Horsepower.  It’s a number so huge that it boggles the mind.  If you’ve ever driven a 500 horsepower car, you know what ridiculously fast is.  Now imagine a car with twice the number of ponies over the hood.  There really aren’t words in the English language to describe the force we’re talking about [...]

Chrysler files for Bankruptcy

None other than The Great Obama himself announced it, to top it all off.  Chrysler, LLC is officially under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.  Just to clarify, this is a “restructuring” type of bankruptcy, not the liquidation that occurs in Chapter 7.  This bankruptcy is, of course, with the blessing of the United States government.  They [...]

Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC, and Buick are the so-called “Big 4” [...]

2011 Hyundai Sonata Spy Shots

Hyundai has gotten really good, really quickly over the past few years.  These shots of the new 2011 Sonata seem to follow along that design.  Though it’s covered in cool camouflage,  we can get a good view of the profile.  Though I hate the term, you have to think “four door coupe” when you see [...]

2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor – SVT is Back, Baby!

I’m not sure if this is the right time to introduce a new pickup truck.  Hell I’m not even really a big fan of trucks, at least not “play” trucks.  So forgive me if I’m completely enamored with the all-new 2010 F-150 SVT Raptor.  That’s right, SVT is no longer hiding in the shadows building [...]
