Last year’s Ultimate Aero is so passe. Only 1183 HP – what a joke. For 2009, SSC made some upgrades to the Ultimate Aero – the new power output is an almost unbelievable 1287 HP. That’s one thousand, two hundred and eighty seven horsepower. Or about 286 HP more than a Bugatti Veyron. Yea, that’s fast.
The new unconfirmed top speed is a whopping 270 MPH. If SSC can get Guiness to confirm that, it’s probably a record we won’t see broken for a few years. Enjoy a few pictures of the fastest production car in the world.
It’s an impressive looking car, no? Not like some low-production supercars that look gaudy and awkward…. the SSC Ultimate Aero just looks exotic, fast, and loud. My kind of car.
