Remember the awesomeness of the 2008 Porsche Turbo?  You remember, that 500 HP 4.8 liter turbocharged V8 powered beast.  Yep, that one.  Well, Porsche wasn’t satisfied at all.  To that effect, they are bringing back the Cayenne Turbo S - with a power increase.

How does 550 HP sound?  Porsche managed to squeeze an extra 50 ponies from that same turbocharged 4.8 liter mill.  That’s enough to send this hefty SUV to 60 MPH from a dead stop in, oh, 4.7 seconds.  That’s “stupid fast”, for the record.

Badass, for sure - but why?  With gas prices at record highs, and new CAFE regulations on the way, I don’t see the point.
