Nissan is going for a full redesign for the 2009 Murano , due out early 2008. The redesign and early release are the reasons behind Nissan’s decision to skip the 2008 model year.
The first shots of the 09 Murano show a very similar shape to the current version, which isn’t a bad thing at all. The taillights look a bit different, and the grille looks more similar to the 08 Rogue. Inside is where the biggest changes should be – as that’s where the 07 falls short. Here’s hoping the first interior shots show up soon.

I do like the Murano and yes it does look a lot like the Rogue. I haven’t seen any commercials for it though. Hopefully when they do its as clever as this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5PgHAHAoRw
