Motive Mag reviews the 2009 Nissan Murano and writes - ‘Cruising around Phoenix, Arizona, in a pre-production ‘09 Murano, the improved drivetrain is immediately noticeable. Power engagement and ratio adjustments seem as natural as a traditional automatic but without all that fussy changing of cogs. The CVT shows itself as willing to hold a ratio under hard acceleration, even if the VQ does struggle a bit at higher speeds. Unfortunately, the driver-oriented SE model with its sport mode and six pre-programmed ratios is no longer available.’
