A full day early, here at the first official non-teaser photos of the 2009 Nissan Maxima. Besides the goofy headlights ( seriously, what was Nissan thinking? ), this car is everything I expected, hoped for, and more. It’s just plain sexy - muscular, sporty, and luxurious. The interior is light years ahead of the current Maxima as well. As soon as we know what’s under the hood, then I’ll give my final opinion. As for the looks department, I’m calling this one a 9.5 Kudos Nissan on not screwing this one up. If the hardware matches the looks, then Nissan dealers better hire some more salesmen to deal with the traffic they’ll be getting this summer.
