2009 Nissan GT-R Official Specs

Remember the unofficial Nissan GT-R specs that accompanied the official pictures from yesterday? Turns out they are official now - those numbers are as good as gold. In case you missed them, here they are once more. Don’t forget to wipe the drool off your chin.

2009 Nissan GT-R Specs
  • 473 HP / 434 lb-ft of torque Twin- turbocharged 3.8 liter V6
  • ATESSA AWD
  • GR6 dual-clutch six speed automatic transmission ( no stick available ? )
  • Paddle shifters
  • Base price less than $80,000
  • 0-60 MPH in 3.5 seconds
  • Quarter mile in 11.7 seconds
  • Top speed : 192 mph

    hmmm,

    dyno reveals the horsepower at the crank is more like 550-580, is this done to help drivers have cheaper insurance??

    Partially, I’d bet on it. But it’s always a pleasant surprise to find out a particular car is underrated. You feel like you’re paying for 480 HP, but getting 550. It becomes a bargain :)
