2009 Nissan Altima Recall - 3400 units

Nissan is recalling a bit over 3,400 of the 2009 Altima sedan.  That’s an awfully small recall for such a high volume unit - the Altima is consistently one of the top selling cars in America.  What’s the cause for alarm?  Some of the alluminum alloy wheels may not meet spec.  A lug nut could potentially come loose, causing some vibration / safety issues.  To clear that up, Nissan is recalling all affected units.  If you have alloys on your 09 Altima, you might want to give Nissan a call.  No worries though, they’ll drop a notice in your mailbox soon enough.

  1. I seen on the television recently a recall on the 2008 Rogue - something about the passenger airbag - could you please confirm this and send me more information. Thank you.
