The 2008 Altima Coupe has been a tremendous hit across the country – hampered only by the extremely limited availability. In some areas, inbound units are pre-sold weeks in advance - not typical for any Nissan. The next step, naturally, is to offer a convertible. And that, my friends, is what we see here – a gorgeous transformation from coupe to ragtop. There is speculation that it may seat just 4, but that doesn’t matter. This car will blow away the convertible Eclipse and Sebring.

when will the convertible hybrid be coming out
I’d count on never. Nissan still won’t release the Altima hybrid to all the states… so I don’t see them doing a hybrid ‘vert. Also, the weight penalty from the convertible would tax the hybrid system, and do bad things to gas mileage.
I love this car! Its totally what I want for my car when I turn 16 next year!
They Should Have A Hard Top Vert Instead Of The Soft Top I Know That Will Knock The Pontiac G6 OUT!……………………….
This car is going to be gorgeous! Finally nice to have a convertible to compete with likes of the Eclipses! Can’t wait!
I think this car will beat the 350z in a road race. Plus it looks better..
Has this convertible been confirmed by Nissan themselves?
