The 2009 Murano free-for-all is here - the second set of pictures is here. Finally we get a glimpse of the interior - which from what we can see, is a huge improvement. And of course Nissan resisted the urge to super-size the Murano and add a third row - only 5 roomy seats in the new Murano. As far as what’s new besides the looks , here’s a quick glimpse:

• 3 trim levels - S, SL, and LE ( replaces SE ). LE is only available in AWD form
• 265 HP 3.5 liter “VQ” V6 hooked up to Nissans’ Xtronic CVT
• Available 20″ wheels
• 9.3 GB Hard drive / Navigation unit
• Available heated rear seats - nice!
• iPod connection kit
• Platform shared with the new Altima
