The 2009 Murano free-for-all is here – the second set of pictures is here. Finally we get a glimpse of the interior – which from what we can see, is a huge improvement. And of course Nissan resisted the urge to super-size the Murano and add a third row – only 5 roomy seats in the new Murano. As far as what’s new besides the looks , here’s a quick glimpse:
- 3 trim levels – S, SL, and LE ( replaces SE ). LE is only available in AWD form
- 265 HP 3.5 liter “VQ” V6 hooked up to Nissans’ Xtronic CVT
- Available 20″ wheels
- 9.3 GB Hard drive / Navigation unit
- Available heated rear seats – nice!
- iPod connection kit
- Platform shared with the new Altima
Can’t wait to see pricing on the new Murano.
