2009 Hummer H3T Spy Shots

2009 Hummer H3T Hummer is on a roll lately, with new models being announced or released left and right. The latest creation from the most un-green automotive brand in the world is the 2009 Hummer H3T. Pickuptruck.com managed to snag some spy shots of this baby Hummer truck.

Much like the Hummer H2 SUT, the H3T is basically an H3 with a small truck bed slapped onto the back. The bed will be approximately 4 feet by 4 feet. I’m not sure exactly how useful a 4 foot long truck bed is. No, scratch that. A four foot long truck bed is utterly useless in every way. You can’t put anything in there that you couldn’t carry in the cargo area of an SUV.

For some reason or another, Hummer is convinced that they can move 35,000 of these little guys yearly, and that’s how many they plan to build. Even with the new 295 HP V8 available in the H3T, I’d be surprised if they can manage to sell that many.

  2. I’d wager to say ( and this is a statistic from the made up statistics department here at houston cars ) that 80% of pickup truck buyers never use the bed for anything dirty.

That being said, those that do plan on using their truck that way, as a truck was intended, would be better off buying a real truck, with a real sized bed.

  3. [...] they will build the horrid Hummer H3T, due as a 2009 model in Q3 of 2008. Earlier this year the H3T was caught hiding under camouflage. I hadn’t heard any more about it until now, and I was [...]
