2009 Ford F-150
We don’t have full details on the power output of the 2009 F-150’s engines. However, details are now available for the good ol’ 5.4 liter version. Ford (thankfully) didn’t just leave the engine is as, they actually got to work on it. Something called “open valve technology” enabled Ford to bump the 5.4 liter V8 to 320 HP & 390 lb-ft of torque. That’s a 20 HP and 25 lb-ft bump. Not revolutionary, and not class leading - but still a move in the right direction. I think the truck horsepower wars are about over anyway, with gas climbing ever higher.
Now if we can only find out about that 4.6, and the small diesel?
