Dodge’s all new 2009 Ram has some good things going for it.  The stylish interior and upgraded engine choices make it competitive - at least on paper.  Dodge has traditionally relied on large rebates to help move their trucks.  For 2009, Dodge has lowered the MSRP of the Ram - the new base price is $22170.  Of course, that only gets you a base model regular cab with the V6.  Quad cab models start at $26,225.

Undoubtedly, the new low MSRP won’t be enough to sell the new Ram.  Rebates will come into play, and likely large ones.  Updates or not, the new Ram swills fuel at an alarming rate, and the public at large is acutely aware of that fact.
