Meet the 2009 Cadillac CTS-V - soon to be the fastest Cadillac ever.  Though the test mule is camouflaged pretty well, there are a couple key things that you can take away from this spy shot.All eyes first go to that big ol’ bulge in the hood - any guesses on what that means? 

You got it - the new CTS-V is going to feature a supercharged version of the fantastic small-block Chevy V8.  This engine is being codenamed “LSA” , and horsepower will be *at least* 500 hp.  Expect to see somewhere in the 520 HP range for the production model - after all, Cadillac needs an edge over their German rivals.

The 2009 Cadillac CTS-V has all the makings of a 4 door supercar - and no doubt it’ll have the price tag of one.  Does it matter to me?  Nope.  This is basically a blown 4 door Corvette Z06, and that makes everything else a-ok with me.
