A Nissan source made note of the fact that the company’s upcoming mini-SUV, the 2008 Rogue, will have a base price of under $20,000. That’s fantastic news indeed, because it means that the Rogue undercuts both the Rav4 and CRV in pricing. Since the base Rogue should be equipped with at least A/C and a radio, that’s not a bad starting price at all. I’m not sure if the base will be equipped with power windows / locks et al, though.

Either way, that price will still net you the same 170 HP 4 cylinder and smooth CVT that the top of the line model gets. I don’t care for small SUV’s / CUV’s ( I think sedans are generally a better buy and offer nearly as much functionality ), however the Rogue is a pretty nice looking ride. That is, except for the grille. Yikes.
