2008 Honda Accord Sedan Spy Shots - Unmasked

Hot off the presses - the latest photos of the 2008 Honda Accord Sedan - this time, without the body cladding! There’s a little camouflage, but that’s absolutely no mistaking this for anything other than the 2008 Accord.

Overall, the design is pretty much what we expected, and the rear end is definitely tone down. Hopefully Honda isn’t so conservative with the production version of the Accord coupe.

There’s no word on hard specs, but expect Honda to go with a 3.5 liter V6, putting something like 265-270 HP to keep up with Nissan and Toyota. The four cylinder will probably still be the familiar 2.4 liter ( unless Honda pulls a fast one on me ) with somewhere in the 170-175 range. Expect the 2008 Accord sedan to hit dealer’s showrooms in Q4 2007.

This is terrible! What kind of back door/quarter panel is that? It looks like an old washed up Chevy Malibu. This just can’t be the next Accord Sedan.

It is indeed the next Accord Sedan, no doubt about that. And I’m with you, I’m not convinced about the rear quarter panel… Nor does the grille excite me. I will reserve final judgement for when I see the new Accord sedan in person, though I’m not loving it today. Then again, how many sedans really look nice? That is, after all, why the coupe exists

Hmmm, I’m with Leroy… I’m going to wait and see what the actual production model looks like before I can really judge it.

They have some masking on this car and the grille isn’t the right one, so we’ll have to wait and see.

I’d like to see more of the rear end… because I’m not sure if I like what little I see.

WELL AT LEAST IT DOESN’T LOOK LIKE THE CAMRY, YUCK. IT’S YOUR TYPICAL SEDAN LOOK YOU KNOW. I DON’T EXPECT MUCH DIFFERENCE FROM THIS MASKED SEDAN. PERSONNALLY I CAN’T WAIT TILL THEY EXPOSE THE WHITE CLOTH COVERED COUPE. TEASERS, IT TICKLES MY ITCHING PASSION TO SEE THAT.

EHH…… IT’S ALRIGHT. I REALLY THINK THE COUPE LOOKS BETTER THOUGH. IT’S LIKE THEY TOOK A 99 ACCORD FRONT GRILL AND MERGED IT WITH A SONATA. BADABOOM! HONDA ACCORD SEDAN.

I WILL SAY IT’S MUCH IMPROVED LOOK FROM THEIR PREVIOUS MODEL. IT SHOULD BE A HEAD TURNER.
