Just stop for a moment and let that sink in. 600 HP. Not long ago at all, 500 HP was simply remarkable - now we’re going to see the world’s first 600 HP car under $100k. So where did Dodge find those extra 90 ponies? Well, they had to get a little creative. First, a baby bump in displacement, from 8.3 liters to 8.4 liters. Add higher compression, variable valve timing, and a bigger air intake, and voila - 600 HP. There’s also a new beefed-up Tremec inside as well, to help handle all the extra power. No word on torque just yet, but it will be impressive, I’m sure. Blue Devil Corvette, anyone?
