Set to arrive in late 2007, the 2008 Dodge Avenger shares a platform and engine choices with it’s ugly-ducking cousin, the Chrysler Sebring. The arrival of the Avenger will mark the end of the line for the Stratus - somehow I doubt many will attend the funeral. The Stratus has been one of the most forgettable cars for as long as it’s been around.

Looking at the Avenger, I can’t say much besides *yawn*. It looks like a little baby Charger that doesn’t look good. Kinda how the 2007 Sentra is a baby Maxima that looks bad. Hard to explain, but you can see what I mean. I any case, it doesn’t look worse than the Stratus, so kudos to Chrysler! Source.
